Hello,
I have a very short question: How can I use Keyman keyboards in (G)ViM (for Windows)?
I am wondering whether this issue is related to ViM rather than to Keyman, but ViM somehow supresses keyboard input other than its own (and probably many other applications do it that way). Is there a system-level way to tell Windows to ask Keyman first what character to proceed to the application in use?

The problem is that ViM, like many Opensource applications, does not use standard Windows input methods. There's no way to force Windows to fix the issue, but it should be possible to modify ViM to work correctly with Windows. If you want to pursue the matter, we can provide a quote for creating a patch for the ViM source code to fix the problem. Kind regards, Paul Durdin |
