Tavultesoft Tavultesoft Staff | Hi Vikram,
We encountered problems when we tested with the Indesign CS2 trial, but there's nothing we can do about them -- the problem is in Adobe's Unicode support. I believe you can copy and paste from another program into Indesign to achieve the correct result, but this may not work. Similarly, Quark doesn't appear to have correct support for Unicode input. There's nothing we can do about these issues, unfortunately, as the issue is in Indesign and Quark's input methods. Kind regards, Paul Durdin |

Tavultesoft Tavultesoft Staff | Hi Vikram,
Sorry, I didn't see that you were using an ANSI keyboard. It may be that Indesign and Quark are both making changes to the characters when they are entered -- either with the keyboard or with copy and paste. There's nothing we can do about this issue at the moment, unfortunately, as the problem is in the applications not in Keyman. At some point we'll look into the issue further, but we don't have the time or resources to do so immediately. Kind regards, Paul Durdin |

KAB Graphics | Dear Friend,
As you mentioned that PageMaker 5.0 works with your ANSI fonts perfect & Indesign can't. May be because in pagemaker 5.0 there is a option "Use Typographer Quotes" which always off. And In Indesign CS "Use Typographer Quotes" are always on. That may make some problem with text. If your problem happens with "quotedbl" {0022}, "minus", "middot" then simply replace those glyph by other. In the problem with "quotedbl" then just off "Use Typographer Quotes" from Preference menu. Hope that will works. With kind regards Arun Sarkar P.S.- If your keyboard & font are in ANSI mode then it must works with Indesign. |

KAB Graphics | Dear Vikram
Did you solve that problem. If not you can send a demo font to me. Assure you that Keyman works fine with ANSI at any application of ADOBE. Regards Arun |

Tavultesoft | Vikram,
PostScript fonts typically support only a small collection of characters and also have poor Unicode support (http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ucs/quotes.html). Try using more character-friendly fonts in Quark8. |
