While using keyman Developer version 6, the size of my .msi package (two .kmn files, plus one .kps plus one .kct plus one .kpp) was 3,25MB.
When I recompiled using version 7, the size doubled.
I assume that version 7 contains many additional features, which, however, may not be necessary when one wants to create a lean solution for a very particular environment.
In this case, we practically want just the keyman engine with some selected keyman facilities. Nothing else.
Please, advise.

Marc Durdin Tavultesoft Staff | Are you looking at the difference in size between 7.0 and 7.1? Because version 6 did not produce a .msi - it produced a .exe and was vastly different.
From what I can see, the size of the package should have increased by a maximum of about 1MB from 7.0 to 7.1. Perhaps you can send us the source files so we can investigate further off the forums? |
