This happens almost every time I use the Opera web browser while or after running Keyman; suddenly I can no longer type h, c, or v. I have to shut down Keyman and reboot to fix the problem. Often the h, c, and v keys become disabled in ALL Windows situations, not just Opera. The keyboard I use most frequently (when running Keyman) is GreekClassical.
Windows 7 32-bit
Opera 10.10
Keyman Professional 7.1.268.0
Keyboards: GreekClassical, KBDMAORI, and US International

Tavultesoft Tavultesoft Staff | That is a weird problem! Just h, c and v? Two things to try:
1. It may be that some software thinks one of the modifier keys is depressed. Try pressing and releasing each of left and right Ctrl, Shift, Alt, Windows Key and Context Menu key (between right Ctrl and right Alt). 2. If that doesn't make any difference, can you send us a diagnostic report so we can check on potentially conflicting applications? See http://tavultesoft.com/kb?id=40 for details. |

Simon Brewster | I seem to have solved it ... the fingerprint reader on this laptop is always running in the background and was most likely the source of the problem. |

Tavultesoft Tavultesoft Staff | Simon, thanks for the update -- would you be willing to tell us the model of your laptop so we can trace the conflict? |

Simon Brewster | Excuse the delay -- my laptop is a Dell Studio 1420. |
