Please use correct key sequences to type Sinhala correctly.
Some examples are:
ෙ + ක = කෙ -:ෙ is a deadkey
ෙ + ෙ + ක = කෛ
ම + ් = ම්
ඔ + ් = ඕ
ද + ු = දු
ර + ැ = රැ
ර + ු = රු

you need to practice as keys and signs are logically arranged. when you type a "Dead Key" the the symbol relevant to the deadkey will not appear on the screen, but when the relevant letter is typed, the symbol is modified according to the correct appearance of the "symbol+font" combination. Ex. ප + ු = පු ක + ු = කු ත + ු = තු ළ + ු = ළු Another situation To type the letter ක්රි the sequence is ක + ්ර + ි = ක්රි If you type in the order ක + ි + ්ර = කි්ර This is wrong. Pl. follow the correct order to type the relevant letter. |
