Hi,
It appears that there may be an issue with Keyman and Excel 2003. When typeing using the Greek Polytonic Precomposed Unicode keyboard the breath marks and accents are incorrectly place and duplicated. I have found a work-around of sorts. By typing the first letter and then backspacing... then proceeding to type the letters, the breath marks and accents are correct.
I will be glad to provide debug output or other info if it is needed to troubleshoot this issue.
Incidentally, the same installation/keyboard works fine inside of Word 2003 on the same computer.
Thanks,
Chris

Tavultesoft Tavultesoft Staff | Hi Chris,
We encountered a similar problem with another keyboard -- I believe it is due to Excel's automatic formatting and/or calculating of cell data. Setting the cell type to Text may correct the issue. Check the Autocorrect settings too; they sometimes affect input once but not after backspacing and retyping. Kind regards, Paul Durdin Tavultesoft Pty Ltd |
